1. Are public tours allowed at the Academy?
No. Tours are not allowed for the public.
Specialized tours for dignitaries and special groups are coordinated
through the Public Affairs Office, x3186.
2. Are there specific guidelines or policies
governing software within the FBI?
Yes. The National
Security Division's website contains the information regarding
computer security within the FBI. Any information regarding these
policies should be directed to NSD personnel.
3. What do I do if I have guests coming
to visit me at the Academy?
If you have meetings with individuals
who are not FBI employees, you need to notify the Main Gate that
you will be having guests. You will need to provide them with the
names and social security numbers of the individuals and the approximate
time that you expect them. The Security Officer at the Main Gate
will direct your guest to the front desk in the Jefferson Building.
The front desk will notify you that your guests have arrived and
that you may come to the front desk to escort them for your meeting.
4. What do I do if when I get to work
I have forgotten my badge?
If you forget your badge, take your credentials
to the front desk in the Jefferson Building and let them know you
have forgotten your badge. They will issue you a temporary badge
for the day.
5. If I go running during my lunch hour
do I need to take my badge with me?
Yes, you do. You will not be able to gain
access back into the building without your badge.
