No. Tours are not allowed for the public. Specialized tours for dignitaries and special groups are coordinated through the Public Affairs Office, x3186.

2. Are there specific guidelines or policies governing software within the FBI?

Yes. The National Security Division's website contains the information regarding computer security within the FBI. Any information regarding these policies should be directed to NSD personnel.

3. What do I do if I have guests coming to visit me at the Academy?

If you have meetings with individuals who are not FBI employees, you need to notify the Main Gate that you will be having guests. You will need to provide them with the names and social security numbers of the individuals and the approximate time that you expect them. The Security Officer at the Main Gate will direct your guest to the front desk in the Jefferson Building. The front desk will notify you that your guests have arrived and that you may come to the front desk to escort them for your meeting.

4. What do I do if when I get to work I have forgotten my badge?

If you forget your badge, take your credentials to the front desk in the Jefferson Building and let them know you have forgotten your badge. They will issue you a temporary badge for the day.

5. If I go running during my lunch hour do I need to take my badge with me?

Yes, you do. You will not be able to gain access back into the building without your badge.
